About PID
ANZADA is an Australasian collaborative research project that aims to identify new genetic causes of antibody deficiency disease. Antibody deficiency diseases are forms of primary immune deficiency (PID) diseases that result in an increased susceptibility to infection. At the moment there is no cure. Better understanding of these diseases offers the hope of new strategies for treatment.
